Swirly-Whirly Winter Hat

I have been working with the Tunisian hook a bit this week as I thought I would present the Pick Up Your Needles crocheters with another design option. My hook cannot get away from the Hyperbolic shapes so it produced this Swirly Whirly Winter Hat. Great fun, and the pattern is almost written up too!

hi love the hat and nice to see the swirls on to of ahat being used on a differing shape,in my book Quick Crochet 2007 I had them centre stage on a dome shape –on the points on a rectangle looks good too though.

    Welcome Chrissie!
I have gone completely hyperbolic lately as we are having the Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef visiting Dublin this coming spring and I am heavily involved in getting crocheters around the country to get hooked on the Hyperbolic stuff. In that connection my creative mind is on overdrive and I have swirls and whirls and spheres and planes falling off the hook at a serious rate. One of the things I have on the hook at the moment is a hat with swirls on the top. Great fun!
