Beginner Crochet Classes
3 weeks @ €55, materials included for course project
Monday Evenings at Market Square House, Tinahely
from 8 – 10 pm
Sep 13th: Learn the basics of crochet.
Sep 20th: Learn to crochet flowers and working in the round.
Sep 27th: Learn to crochet simple lace and read patterns.

Crochet for Intermediates
3 weeks @ €55 or €15 for 1 class, basic materials included
Wednesday Mornings at Market Square House, Tinahely
from 10 am – 12 noon
Sep 15th: Learn to make mittens, hats and scarves.
Sep 22th: Design your own Crochet Poncho/.
Sep 29th: Learn the technique of colourful Tapestry crochet.
If you want help with a project you can also join this class.

A wide variety of crochet classes are available at The Yarn Room on a variety of dates. You can learn everything from Beginners to Intermediate Crochet, Parent & Child crochet, Afghan making, Amigurumi animals as well as Project classes and Crochet Flowers.
There are classes for all skill levels.

Can you tell me if you know of any crochet classes running in Navan Co Meath? Some one i know is very interested in learning but she lives in Navan. Thank you. Haidee Mac Carthy.
Haidee, unfortunately, I don’t know of any classes near Navan. However, we do a one day workshop in Tinahely, Co Wicklow which might suit her?

My mum, Helen Brennan (from Tinhely) gave me one of your lovely knitted hair grips! I am an avid knitter but havent tried something like that yet and would love to learn how! I would love to come to one of your classes but unfortunately I cant as I live in Balbriggan, Co Dublin. I will have to figure it out myself!

Uma, unfortunately, I have no crochet classes in Drogheda. Try and check out your local yarn store, they might have classes.
Sian, great you liked the swirly-whirly, they are great fun to crochet. As for the classes, we do have one day workshops at the Courthouse Arts Centre in Tinahely regularly, the next one is Sunday February 21st which might suit you? Otherwise, check out your local yarn store, they may have classes.
