Irene’s Quick Knit
Cushendale Mohair Triangle

Yarn: 1 ball Cushendale Mohair (100 g)
Needle: 15 mm
Abbreviations: Yarn Over = YO.

PATTERN:
Cast on 1 sts.
Row: *YO, K all sts on row.* Repeat *-* on all rows. (The YO is the increase at the beginning of each row which gives the long v-shape of the shawl).
Continue in this manner until you have enough yarn left to cast off mad lose. Make sure to cast off lose to avoid the top edge curbing.

Finishing: Sew away ends, soak gently in water and block.

Bookworm

This is a fun little book marker, ideal for a beginner Amigurumi enthusiast and not least as a handy little gift for the avid book reader friend.

The bookworm can be worked in any yarn but cotton is recommended just ensure to use the appropriate hook size for the chosen yarn. The pattern is suited for intermediate crocheters.

IMG_7490smallIrene’s Lazy Lace Scarf: Materials: 100 g Cushendale Bouclé Mohair in the colour of your choice and 1 15 mm crochet hook. Pattern: ch 27 + 3 (30 in total); dc 1 into 6th st from hook. *Ch 3, dc 1into 3rd st from hook*. Continue *-* to end of row. Row 2: Turn, *ch 3 and work 1 dc into ch sp*; repeat *-* to end of row. Repeat row 2 until you run out of yarn. Weave in ends neatly. Wash and dry flat (do not block to keep yummy bounce).

This knitted scarf is worked in approximately 300 grams of Kauni Effect. Alternative yarn suggestion is Schoppel Wolle Zauberball DK. It is a very simple knit and is a great TV-knit. Enjoy!

    Tusinde tak for tillykke! Opskrifterne findes pt kun på engelsk, men de drømmer rigtig meget om også at udkomme på dansk engang, og det kommer de jo nok til med tiden, tror du ikke? ;-)
